We assign the client to a vetted receiving broker.
The receiving broker closes the transaction.
The receiving broker pays a referral commission to Patriot Trust Realty Associates.
We then pay you, the referring agent, a share of that commission.

4. Who can join Patriot Trust Realty Associates?
Any licensed real estate agent who wants to focus on referring clients rather than handling full-service transactions is eligible to join. This is ideal for part-time agents, retired agents, or those taking a break from active real estate work.
5. Do I need to be actively practicing real estate to join?
No. As long as your license is active, you can join Patriot Trust Realty Associates and begin earning through referrals.
6. Are there any annual, monthly or upfront fees?
Keeping your license in referral with Patriot Trust Realty Associates by paying the affordable referral program fee either annually ($270) or monthly ($25) plus a small percentage of the earned referral commission, provides you full access to our referral platform and the support of our dedicated team. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown:
After the receiving broker closes the transaction, they pay Patriot Trust Realty Associates the agreed to and contracted referral commission.
Patriot Trust Realty Associates pays you an industry leading 30% of the receiving brokers earned commission after it has been received from the receiving broker and after the commission received is deposited and cleared by our financial institution.
9. Can you provide an example of a commission breakdown?
Sure! Let’s say:
The receiving broker earns a $10,000 gross commission on a transaction from a referral from Patriot Trust Realty Associates.
The receiving broker earns 60% of the gross commission, or $6,000.
Patriot Trust Realty Associates receives a referral commission from the receiving broker, typically 40% of their earned share, or $4,000.
You, as the referring agent, earn an industry leading 30% of the receiving brokers earned commission after closing received by Patriot Trust Realty Associates, or $3,000.
10. How and when do I get paid?
You’ll receive your commission via check or direct deposit after the referral commission is received and deposited by Patriot Trust Realty Associates and is then processed and cleared by Patriot Trust Realty Associates’ financial institution. Payments are typically disbursed promptly upon receipt of funds from the receiving broker.

Yes. Patriot Trust Realty Associates is a fully licensed real estate brokerage operating as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). We also carry the necessary general liability and professional (Errors & Omissions) insurance to protect our agents and ensure compliance with state regulations.
12. How are receiving brokers selected?
We carefully vet all receiving brokers in our network to ensure they have a proven track record of professionalism, expertise, and excellent client service. Our goal is to provide your referred clients with the best experience possible.
13. Can I refer clients in any state?
Yes! Patriot Trust Realty Associates operates across multiple states and has relationships with brokers nationwide. Wherever your client needs assistance, we’ll work to find the right receiving broker for their location.

16. Do I stay involved after making the referral?
Once you’ve referred the client, your involvement ends. We manage the process from there, ensuring the client is connected with a qualified receiving broker and that the transaction runs smoothly.
17. What happens if a referred transaction doesn’t close?
If the referred transaction doesn’t close, no commission is paid. However, you can continue to refer clients without any additional cost or obligation.
